Team Lynx Leadership Transition

At the upcoming September AGM, Team Lynx will begin an exciting new chapter as Hao and Bob transition from their current roles as Captain and Vice Captain, with Hong and Teresa stepping into these positions. 🎉 Over the past year, Hao and Bob have worked closely together to support the team’s daily operations, organize practices, competitions and social activities, coordinate external events and friendly matches, and help build the strong and welcoming community that Lynx has become today. 🏓🤝

The club extends its sincere appreciation to Hao and Bob for their dedication, leadership and countless hours of behind-the-scenes work. 🙏 While the Captain is often the person most visible to members, much of the team’s success has also been made possible by the tireless contributions of the Vice Captain, Board members and volunteers. Hao will continue serving as President of the Board and, together with Bob, will support Hong and Teresa throughout the transition to ensure a smooth and successful handover. 🌟

Hong and Teresa bring strong leadership, organizational skills and valuable community experience to their new roles. Teresa previously served for many years as President and Board Director of the Milton Chinese Association, bringing extensive experience in community engagement, outreach and nonprofit operations. As women now represent more than half of Lynx membership, her appointment will also provide an important voice and encourage even greater participation from female members. 👏 We look forward to supporting Hong and Teresa as they lead Team Lynx’s competitions, activities, external relations and day-to-day operations into its next stage of growth. 🚀🐾
